Ernest Kebreau, first Haitian American to be elected in the city of New York as the State Committee man, District Leader of the 86th Assembly, has been a District leader for over 7 years. Ernest has brought change to his community in a way a district leader in the Bronx area has not done before.
After receiving numbers of recognition and awards for his long time service in the community as a community organizer (programs for youth, senior citizen activities, etc.) he also has worked with a number of the elected officials, supporters, and artists on different Haitian relief projects that affects their community. Also Ernest Kebreau (aka) E-UNEEK , Brooklyn born and raised, is one of the most multitalented Haitian American artists. As a performer, songwriter, music producer, politician, community leader, and a humanitarian, E-Ueek best illustrates the creator and innovator of new music genre H-FACTOR, which stands for HISTORY, HERITAGE, HUMANITY, HARMONY, HEART, HAITI. H-FACTOR is encompassing a blend of music from around the globe particularly, strong Haitian Konpa and Roots/Racine rhythmic beats with Troubadour melodies combined with bi-lingual Hip-Hop lyrics, integrated through a hint of reggae, Zouk, Jazz, Soul, Hip-Hop, REGGAETON, and Soukous.
Although E-UNEEK's ground breaking single "OVER 200 YEARS OF BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARS" has produced an eruption within the Haitian and American Diaspora, it is the "KI MOUN K'AP SOVE YO” movement (WHO'S GONNA SAVE THEM ) which has visibly uttered his vision for saving Haitians still suffering after the January 12th earthquake. With the realization of this movement, E-UNEEK's mission is to move, change and open the mind and souls of people around the world to continue to help lives.
