Leslie Dalencour, a dual citizen of Haiti and the United States, has over twenty years experience in entertainment, event production and musical artist development. Mr. Dalencour’s musical career began as a solo artist known for his energizing dance-pop tunes which have been well received internationally. It was not long before Leslie was dubbed “the Haitian Sensation” by the press. Leslie’s next musical career move was to partner with a gifted composer of synthesized music to form the musical group DUCE. Together, DUCE recorded their first album in Canada with a renowned producer which paved the way for performances at some of the most high-profile venues in the northeast, internationaly, Miami’s infamous South Beach and featured on such television shows as “Dance Explosion, Ritmo International,Soleil D’Haiti, Sabado Gigante just to name a few.”
Independently, Mr. Dalencour began to develop and manage musical talent with sights set on securing record contracts and live event bookings. For instance, the group AXIS was totally created by Leslie, who went on to be featured on the popular Telemundo program “Ritmo International,” where they caught the eye of “Star Search” producer Sam Riddle who secured AXIS a recording contract with Sony music. Leslie also managed Haitian icon Fedia Laguerre. Again, independent of DUCE, Leslie produced numerous live events including an historic musical extravaganza featuring some of Haiti’s most revered musical acts like (Fedia Laguerre, Gerard Duperville, Martha Jean Claude, Emeline Michel, Guy Durosier, Katherine Cue (Who won star search Junior, Jasmine Jacotin, Briana etc etc… at the 5,000 seat James L. Knight Center in Miami. Leslie also helped to produce Miami’s “Festival of Cultures” in Little Haiti where DUCE was also a featured act and performed with Duce at the Kennedy Center it the Oti Festival….
Leslie Just performed on Friday may 27th at the United Nations for the Haitian Culterelle soiree for flag day celebration.
Mr. Dalencour has historically been involved with Haitian relief efforts and for years volunteered his time, talents and resources to help Haitian orphans via The 12 Tribes Foundation. Today, Leslie if focused renewing his commitment to Haitian relief efforts and is producing a new Cabaret musical show as a platform to do so.
