Mc KoolDog is a young artist originally from Haiti. He started playing the piano at the age of 9, KoolDog was influenced by Haitian and Jamaican artists such as Top Adlerman, Master Dji, ORS, King Posse, Elephant Man, Sizzla and of course the man himself Bob Marley. Mc Kool Dog discovered his talent for Dancehall, Reggae, Rap, R&B and Zouk. At the age of 16 he was member of two bands Staff Verite et Voodoo Klan, He decided to continue with Voodoo Klan, the band consist of 8 members. The main focus of the group was Hip Hop Kreyol and Dancehall. In 2003 they performed in Toulouse, Montpellier and Paris France. Two years later in 2005, Mc KoolDog moved from Toulouse to Paris, where he met with some childhood friend from Haiti, Guadeloupe, et Martinique. They than formed a new group and called themselves Real Story Klan. With a new group, and a new location things were taking another route for the Mc and his band members. Although, He is in a band, Kooldog also works on his own materials. He performed solo in England, Paris, Miami, New York. In 2006, KoolDog had his first performance in Miami at FAU at the First Hip Hop Kreyol concert Mc KoolDog in his lyric talk mostly about life, and his birth country Haiti. His first single “Griyen Bouda’w’ featuring Top Adlerman is well known in Haiti He also had did a featuring with Harage Mc a well known Algerian rapper. “Yon Malta ak yon Guiness” is very well known in Algeria. Kooldog will never be caught without his notebook, and says he is inspired by the little things in life. He is working with Shakaitutu, Real Story Klan and KoolDog recently traveled to Haiti for the Unity is Power concert. KoolDog has worked with many well known artists in the HMI such as; Top Adlerman, Rockfam, Larose, Mecca, Bennchoumy, Jowell, I&I, Jassiah, Edalam Lusdy, and Tiwony who are well known singer in Europe, to name a few. KoolDog is currently working on his upcoming album which he plans on releasing before the end of the year
