Yesterday the President of the Republic, Michel Martelly, has identified the three socio-political crises that cross the country, the revision of the constitution, the electoral crisis with the case of the 19 Parliamentarians and the ratification of his Prime Minister-designate, Daniel Gérard Rouzier.
Concerning the first point, the constitution, he indicated that there were several proposals and possibilities, but that he had to take the best decision for the country and for people concerned by these sections. Adding "at this level I will decide"
Regarding the second point, the President said "I must tell you that I received a text for publication with the various Deputies and Senators [...] but the problem I am facing today, and which makes that I can not publish it, it is that the signatures on the document are scanned signatures, they are not original..." adding "It comes a time where the President must decide [...] it is the role of the President to take major decisions, that means that on the question of the elections, we will decide" declared Martelly.
Regarding the third crisis, the ratification of the Prime Minister he has specified "I'm not saying that it is a crisis but I call it crisis because we need to move forward"
"As long as these crises are not resolved, my hands are tied" said Martelly.
