The World Bank informs that the Haiti Reconstruction Fund (HRF) has approved at the 4th meeting of the Interim Haiti Recovery Commission (IHRC) held in Santo Domingo on Tuesday, 102 million dollars to fund four projects:

$65 million will be spent on rebuilding destroyed houses in poor neighborhoods
$25 million will be used for debris removal by the United Nations
$10 million will go to education
$2 million for strengthening disaster risk management.

This funding is part of the reconstruction plan approved in New York last March, pursuant to agreements between the international community and the Haitian Government.
