Haitian-American Model With A Heart of Charity

My name is Anedie Azael, I am a 22 year old Haitian-American student/Model/Activist/writer for ShoeBizness.com and co-founder of organization Peace Love International.

I lived in Haiti during my first 16 years of existence and moved to Miami, Fl on August 15th 2004. I attended Felix Varela Sr. High school and graduated at the age of 17 in 2006. Currently have about 1 year left at Florida International University. Getting a degree in Liberal Studies and minor in business management.

I started modeling professionally in 2009 and loving every aspect of it. Modeling is one of my passions and I enjoy everything about that life. I started without having any knowledge in the business and now I find myself modeling everywhere, for Carolina Herrera, Fashion Weeks, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales, Macy’s, Dior, Zac Posen, and so so so much more. That is how I got introduced to ShoeBizness.com. Met the owner, Julia Kreibich, during a fashion show I did for her and since then we have stuck together. She is now one of my great friends and we rule the shoe world as we deal with the professionals in the shoe industry.

I am also getting into the Acting industry. Love it!

When I am not in front of the camera, at school, or on a mission for ShoeBizness, I spend my time helping Haiti in its recovery process. Since I was born, even before the January 12 earthquake, my mother used to take me to Jacmel (South-East city in Haiti where my mother is from) to give school supplies to children in need. We did this with our limited funds and it felt so great. The happiness that we brought to the children was immeasurable and we continue to do so until this day. Now, after the earthquake, we are organizing our efforts in a way Haiti as a whole will profit, by creating programs/workshops for the youth and children so they can have the knowledge on life to become independent and sustainable.
