Last week, D.C.’s finest Raheem DeVaughn, Wale, D.C. Don Juan, Tabi Bonney and more came out to help raise money to help support Haiti’s earthquake relief at the famed 9:30 Club and ya gurl J’More was there to witness it all! Other great local artists who also came through to support the cause were Black Cobain, Phil Ade, XO, Kingpen Slim, K-Beta and the lovely Paula Campbell.
Aside from hitting the stage with Phil Ade to perform “Hollyhood”, Radio Rah also performed two tracks off his new album The Love & War Masterpiece titled “Can I Live” and “Bulletproof”.
Mr. “Lookie Looky” D.C. Don Juan performed club banger “Lookie Looky”.
Tabi Bonney hopped on the stage with ABDC’s Beat Ya Feet Kings and performed hits “The Pocket” and “Jet Setter”.
The man of the night, Wale took the stage a lil’ after 10 pm and boy did the crowd going crazy! Before Wale hopped on the stage, audience members began chanting his name. Ya would’ve thought he was Jay-Z or something! He performed a few tracks including “Chillin”, “90210″, and “Nikeboots”. Not to mention he also took a few shots at Charles Hamilton and the New Boyz.
Special shout out to Candice!
