The courses for referees have begun at the Centre technique Joseph Blatter under the direction of the Engineer Rosnick Grant and under the supervision of three FIFA Instructors: Ronald Gutierrez, Costa Rican former international referee and Development Director of Arbitration of the CONCACAF in the FIFA-RAP program (Refeering Assistance Program), Edwin Sylva, Conditioning Coach and referee and Jorge Morales, Instructor FIFA of nationality Mexican.
This course, lasting three days is designed specifically for 19 young referees and 12 referees women, all aged under 25.
The experts from FIFA and the National instructor Rosnick will animate next week two other seminars, the first for a group of Referees Instructors from different parts of the country and who are called to form classes of arbitrators in major regions.
The 2nd seminar concerns also former referees called to become assessors, inspectors or Commissioners referees with a mandate to supervise, advise, assess and note the referees during at the time of the matches of championship.
Football development, improvement of competition is not possible without a good parallel development of the arbitration.
Note that these young referees come from all parts of the country, from places as diverse as Saint Louis du Nord, Belladère, Jérémie, Aquin, Fort Liberté, la Gonâve showing the will of the Officials to continue to decentralize the football.
Starting this year, the FIFA requires that all Associations have an office of arbitration with a director of development working full time.
